The New Orleans Pelicans have signed guard Isaiah Thomas to a 10-day contract.
The team announced the move on Saturday.
Thomas last played with the Washington Wizards in February 2020. He appeared in 40 games with the Wizards, averaging 23.1 minutes and 12.2 points per game.
It was originally reported the 32 year-old point guard was eligible to make his debut with New Orleans in their game against Houston on Sunday. However, Thomas could not be available due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
Thomas will wear No. 24 for the Pelicans, according to the team.
