The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns have unveiled their 2023 baseball schedule, and it includes 33 games at M.L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park.
The season will begin with a three-game series at Rice (Feb. 17-19) before coming home to host BYU (Feb. 22-25). The Cajuns will then travel down I-10 to McNeese on February 28th before hosting eight consecutive games at home, beginning with Campbell on March 3rd for three games.
The marquee matchup is a trip to Biloxi, MS on March 15 to play SEC member Mississippi State at MGM Park. This matchup will serve as the single away game of a 14-game span for Louisiana that includes Campbell, McNeese, High Point, Arkansas State, Grambling, and Southeastern Louisiana.
Midweek games at home include McNeese, Jackson State, Grambling, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Southern, and Northwestern State. Louisiana will travel to McNeese, SLU, and LSU in the midweek as well.
The conference slates includes visits from Arkansas State, App State, Troy, Coastal Carolina, and Texas State. Meanwhile, Louisiana will visit South Alabama, Marshall, James Madison, ULM, and Southern Miss.
The Sun Belt tournament will be played in Montgomery, Ala May 22-28 with the winner going to the NCAA Championships.
