Tonight’s mid-week contest between the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (18-14, 7-5 SBC) and the McNeese Cowboys (16-16, 3-6 SLC) scheduled for 6:00pm has been cancelled due to impending severe weather in the area. Currently, there is no makeup date scheduled.
Both Louisiana and McNeese were looking forward to this game, as the last contest between the two teams went wire to wire, with Louisiana picking up a 10-8 win on March 16 at Joe Miller Ballpark in Lake Charles.
The Cajuns have been rolling as of late, winning 9 of their last 12, including 4 straight and 5 of their last 6. McNeese is currently riding a 3-game skid and is looking to rebound.
Louisiana will now shift their focus to ULM (10-19-1) with a three game series Thursday-Saturday. First pitch times are 6:00pm, 6:00pm, and 4:00pm respectfully. McNeese will host Incarnate Word (15-13, 5-4 SLC) with first pitch Thursday at 6:00pm from Joe Miller Ballpark.
