Malik Marquetti, a 6’6″ guard on the Trojans website, committed to the Cajuns after one year at USC. He chose the Cajuns over Cal State Northridge.
In his sole year with the Trojans he averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 boards a game.
According to the USC Trojans website, he may be listed as a guard but he has a lot of versatility and can play a lot of positions.
But the Cajuns will have to wait until the fall of 2017 to get him on the court. Marquetti will have to sit out the 2016-17 season due to the NCAA’s transfer rules
