Another LSU Tiger will enter the NCAA transfer portal.
According to 247 Sports, defensive tackle Siaki Ika is entering the transfer portal.
Ika is a former four-star recruit from Salt Lake City East in Utah. He was the No. 11 ranked defensive tackle in the 2019 recruiting class. He visited USC, Oregon and Florida before deciding to join LSU in 2019.
Playing time became limited for Ika as the LSU defense went from a 3-4 defensive front to a 4-3 under defensive coordinator Bo Pelini. Ika appeared in 13 games in 2019 as a backup.
According to Shea Dixon of Geaux247, LSU head coach Ed Oregon met with Ika on Tuesday regarding his playing time.
Former LSU defensive end T.K. McLendon entered the transfer portal back in August. Ika is now another defensive lineman to enter the transfer portal.
