The New Orleans Saints continued filling out their 2025 coaching staff on Thursday when they announced the hiring of LSU’s Bo Davis as their defensive line coach.
The Mississippi native and former Tiger will join Kellen Moore’s staff and work under newly hired defensive coordinator Brandon Staley in New Orleans.
Davis began his coaching career at LSU as a graduate assistant after his time in college. His first NFL opportunity came in 2006 as an assistant defensive line coach with the Miami Dolphins. Since then, he has spent nearly two decades in different positions at both the collegiate and professional level. He has been known as a defensive line specialist throughout his coaching career.
Most recently, Davis returned home and joined Brian Kelly’s coaching staff as the defensive line coach for LSU in 2024. He was able to stabalize a unit that struggled in the year prior to his arrival.
Davis is the latest of Saints’ hires as Moore continues to fill in his group of assistants prior to his first season as head coach.
