SAINTS PREVIEW: New Orleans will look to end slide in Carolina

The New Orleans Saints, coming off a tough trip to Los Angeles, will look to end their six-game losing streak as they head east to play the Carolina Panthers in a NFC South matchup.

Carolina is arguably the worst team in the NFL, sitting at 1-7 on the season. After benching Bryce Young for Andy Dalton a few weeks prior, Young will be back under center on Sunday after Dalton suffered a fractured thumb in a car accident.

Kickoff inside Bank of America Stadium is set for Noon on Sunday, November 3rd.

DEREK CARR RETURNS

Saints quarterback Derek Carr is set to return from an Oblique injury that he suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football four weeks ago. Since then, Spencer Rattler has started the three games and played well at points, but the offense sputtered down the stretch of games. Now, Carr looks to come back and get the offense back rolling and end the six-game skid for the Black and Gold.

DEFENSIVE STRUGGLES LATE

During the first two games of the season, the Saints have outscored 91-24 and a 2-0 start. Since then, New Orleans has been outscored 182-94 and have been 0-6. Giving up just over 30 points a game, the Saints’ defense will be looking for a way to right the ship against a fellow struggling division rival.

DISCONNECT IN BIG EASY?

Anytime a team loses six straight like the Saints have, it’s obvious to have a little discoure. However, could there be more of a disconnect between the coaches and players than normal? Dennis Allen currently holds the worst winning percentage among active coaches and one of the worst in NFL history, but the frustration among the fanbase is rising to a new high.
