Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You

Posted by codychustz on May 4, 2016 in Featured, Latest News

It is finally that day once again, the day that sends all science fiction fans, and movie buffs into a scurry to tell anyone they can, ‘May the 4th be with You’.  It all got started just a short 5 years ago, at an Underground Cinema in Toronto, Canada.  The unofficial holiday gained so much support through social media and other outlets, that the Disney Company started to recognize the holiday themselves in 2013.  Disney of course bought the rights to the Star Wars Franchise not that long ago as well.  We all know and love the characters like: Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo, C3P0, R2D2, and the numerous other heroes and villains we have come to appreciate so fondly over the years.  I did, though, leave out one very important piece to this Star Wars gumbo.  I did that for good reason, that being the video that is posted below.  Give it a click and watch an artist at work, crafting one of the most iconic characters not just in Star Wars but in film history as well.  That’s right, I’m talking about the one and only Master Yoda.  I will never forget the classic line, “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”

It is safe to say that the artist below most definitly ‘did’ his thing while crafting a Yoda’s bust before your very eyes.  Give it a click and let the nostalgia and wonder suck you in. Enjoy!
