When we heard that one Kobe Bryant announced that he would be retiring at the end of this season, I’m sure mixed emotions came out of all you NBA fans out there. I’m a diehard fan of the Golden State Warriors and there was no part of Bryant’s game that I liked. This was because the man known as “The Black Mamba” would be killing my team or any other team not named the Lakers in the process of his long and illustrious NBA career.
I don’t like him one bit, but boy do I respect the hell out of him. Bryant took the NBA by storm when he got drafted in 1996-13th overall by the Lakers. And yes, my Warriors had a chance to draft him along with eleven other teams, but he was a high schooler, who knew he’d become one of the best to ever play the game.
Well, twenty years later, Kobe has five championship rings and as we all know will be a Hall of Famer and remembered for all his clutch shots throughout the years. The NBA will miss him.
Here’s a highlight reel of him courtesy of aplzrg…
Thank you for hanging out with me on the sidelines. Until next time, have a nice day, a goodnight, and a better tomorrow to you all!
