5. Deshaun Watson
When Richard Sherman says you are the best QB the Legion of Boom has faced, that is pretty damn impressive. I just do not understand why people are surprised by this? Watson is one of college football’s greatest winners ever, but because of the stigma being a rookie quarterback comes with he wasn’t expected to be one of the league’s best players right away. Nonsense. With 19 touchdown passes in his first seven games, Deshaun Watson is one of the best players in the league right now.

4. Dave Wannstedt
Ohio State beat Penn State in one of the gutsiest comebacks in college football this season. JT Barrett put himself right next to Saquan Barkley as a Heisman candidate while Buckeye fans and those of us who despise the cult in Happy Valley rejoiced. Of those people who were all jacked up over the big Ohio State win was former Pitt head coach and current Fox analyst Dave Wannstedt. The “Wannstache” could not contain himself as he was high fiving co-eds in the middle of the post game broadcast; a breathe of fresh air from the usual toeing of the line we see from many college football analysts who forget their roots.

3. The Big 12 Gauntlet
The Big 12 is college football’s most exciting conference because it is the most wide open conference. The Pac 12 is also wide open but the teams do not feel like the threat many of the teams in the Big 12 pose when it comes to playoff prospects. With wins over Oklahoma and now TCU, Iowa State has proven that in a league full of brutality, they are as capable as any monsters in this, college football’s chamber of horrors.

2. Bats
Of all the data and records that came from the Astros and Dodgers epic Game 5 of the World Series, one we must never forget is that all of that occurred, all the homers, all 25 runs, all of it; during a game that was started by Dallas Keuchel and Clayton Kershaw. The Monster Mash has never been such a graveyard smash in any October ever!

1. Halloween
In a nation full of freaks, this is our nite to shine. It’s not about pranks or ghouls or being scared though. Halloween is about being as weird as you want to be; it’s about being who you are. Be your own thing man! Or as the Santa Claus of Halloween, David S. Pumpkins would say: “it’s all about the candy man!”
