5. Pouring It On
Sean Payton was extra saucy on the sideline as the Saints ran it up on the Rams and former Saints defensive coordinator/dirty rat Gregg Williams on Sunday. Normally Payton will give a fist pump or high five people to celebrate, but getting back at the man who arguably cost him $8 million dollars and an entire season for pointing the finger during the “Bountygate” gimmick was just too sweet for Payton. The Saints head coach was dancing and calling trick plays late in the game, having the time of his life. This meant a lot to Payton. Now if only he can show that fire the rest of the season and get this team to something other than mediocre.
4. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson
After Daniel Cormier bowed out of the UFC 206 main event, everyone speculated on who should face Rumble on December 10th. I was even guilty of this, thinking a fight with Anderson Spider Silva would be entertaining enough for a main event. While unfortunately the main event for UFC 206 is a whole hell of a lot less sexy now with Holloway vs. Pettis for McGregor’s vacated belt, at least Rumble is getting what he deserves and that is nothing less than a title shot.
3. Hud
Better late than never! The Cajuns clock on getting a signature win was ticking and ticking fast. Bowl eligibility was slipping away but on senior day at Cajun Field they were able to win a game they weren’t supposed to win. Now one win away from bowl eligibility, Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns are on the verge of rising from the dead and Mark Hudspeth is on the verge of completing one hellacious coaching job with this turnaround.
2. Oeaux Hell Yeah!
I imagine this is how it feels to win a hard fought campaign. Today I feel vindicated for every biased rant and blog as I cheered on Ed Orgeron to become the next LSU Head Football Coach. While I supported my case with some good facts, I always accepted that Coach Oeaux was a flawed candidate and it would take some special circumstances for him to win the job. Well, it happened and now we have him for the foreseeable future. Wake me when it’s SEC Media Days 2017. Thank you football God!
Congrats to Ed Orgeron as head coach for #LSU Tigers. Well earned and deserved. Great program over there. #SEC

1. Troy Aikman
Watching so much football this weekend you can grow tired of all the analysts and play by play guys saying the same crap over and over again. Sometimes I watch games on mute. This week was different though. Surrounded by friends and family, I tuned them all out because I was immersed in the top notch analyzing being done by Fox color man and former Cowboy legend Troy Aikman as he let us know what makes DP and Big D so good. This is some of the best analyzing I’ve ever had.
