5. John Wall/Markief Morris
No matter how Game 7 goes down, John Wall at least gave the fans of Beltway sports something to cling onto after years and years of misery. Wall’s ice cold three to seal the Game 6 victory of their second round series with Boston will live forever on highlights reels. His celebration and Markieff Morris’ slapping of Stepehan A. Smith’s behind will live on even longer than that.

4. Patience
The Cavs have been waiting for what seems like an eternity to get their Eastern Conference Finals series going. With the Western Finals having already started, you would think the defending champs would be getting pretty antsy to get back on the court by now. Every year it seems LeBron James has a new test to overcome and this year it’s not much other than his patience. I’d hate to be the Wizards or Celtics when LeBron is finally allowed to play basketball again.
3. Ragin’ Cajuns Softball
Congratulations to Mike Lotief and his Ragin’ Cajuns Softball team are definitely in order! They are coming off of a dominant win of the Sun Belt Conference Starring Mike Lotief Tournament and they will now advance to play in the DJ Sanders Regionals in Baton Rouge. The LSU Tigers may be hosting this Regional, but let’s be real, this is going to be another Mike Lotief, DJ Sanders, and Ragin’ Cajuns production.

2. Aaron Judge
All Astros fans wanted all weekend against the Yankees was more wins than losses and to see something spectacular. They got both as the Stros took 3 of 4 from the Yanks and we all witnessed the most devastating homer (of many) given up by Mike Fiers when the American Ivan Drago, Aaron Judge, smashed one over Monument Park. There is already a lot of folklore surrounding this young ball player as his myth continues to grow.

1. Stipe Miocic
He has officially tied the record for the most title defenses at Heavyweight with two. Sure that is no big deal, but seeing how the state of the Heavyweight division is kind of up in the air, Stipe Miocic has now positioned himself into potentially being called the greatest UFC Heavyweight Champion of all time. I will call him that if he defends the title successfully a third time. Even though I respect Miocic, he is not my favorite Heavyweight. Here is hoping that does not happen and we get a Derrick Lewis title run!
