WARNING: THE FAVE 5 IS NSFW AND SO SO MONEY!
5. Money
It makes the world go round and without it, we would never get spectacles like Mayweather vs. McGregor. Saturday was the greatest case ever made for Capitalism.
4. Worry Warts
Anybody concerned with the Saints offense, or lack thereof, during this preseason needs to remember what team they are talking about. Sure the Saints are a defensive juggernaut now, but that does not mean the offense is going anywhere. I might take Brees first round in all fantasy drafts just to prove my point.
3. Losing with Class
Does anybody take an L better than Conor McGregor? In the fight game it is easy to get emotional after suffering defeat, but in two historical fights where he came out on the wrong end, Conor McGregor showed poise and sportsmanship we rarely ever see from a loser. That being said, show me a guy who loses with class and I will show you a loser.
2. Digital Media
This weekend showed the power and convenience of the age we live in. I was able to watch live pro wrestling from Mexico with Luchadors flying from 100 foot scaffolds on Twitch right on my phone. I watched highlights of the Money Fight on my tablet all night long as the memes were flying all over the place. If you don’t stop to think about how good we have it as sports and entertainment fans these days you don’t realize just how well off we are compared to those poor bastards who used to have to wait until the newspapers hit the stands the day after a big event.
1. The Saints D
It is the best in the league right now. The Fridge and the ’85 Bears have nothing on Cam Jordan and the Who Dat D.
