In the spirit of All Hallows Eve, this week’s Fave 5 has transformed into a much more grotesque and sinister blog! I give you my Fright 5!
5. Sean Payton
I could have sworn Payton would abandon the run completely after the Mark Ingram fumble, but Tim Hightower’s 3.9 yards and a cloud of dust was enough for Payton to comfortably keep the balance in the offensive game plan. The Saints’ patience is what won them that game.
4. OU
Boomer Sooner! With WVU and Baylor going down this weekend, Oklahoma sits atop the Big 12 once again. Bob Stoops is a great coach because of how he is able to bounce back from disappointment after disappointment. With the Sooners and Washington running the table the rest of the way, this year’s College Football Playoff Committee will have their toughest task yet come December.
3. Russell Wilson
This man is playing hurt and he is keeping Seattle afloat as one of the elite teams in the constantly changing NFC. Even though they have not won in a couple weeks, the fact that Wilson is still playing and not coming out of these games is a testament to his testicular fortitude. The Saints won that game and there are no excuses but Seattle was absolutely playing with a quarterback at much less than MAX HEALTH.
2. Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks
Last night was the greatest night in the history of women’s wrestling and possibly in all of women’s sports. A WWE pay per view was main evented by the Women’s Championship match. WWE’s two most talented wrestlers today just happen to be women and the fact that the most bloodthirsty fans in all of sports and entertainment not only accepted this, but voraciously yearned for it, just shows how awesomely far the female athlete has come. I give the match five stars and the biggest “woo!” of all time!
1. Jason Vorhees
He is the undisputed king of killers, the Sultan of Slashers, and the best monster to ever grace the silver screen! You can have your Michael Myers’, your Freddy Kruegers, your Leatherfaces, Draculas, Jigsaws and Wolf Men! Give me the man behind the mask EVERY Halloween and twice on Friday the 13th!
