SEC Media Days are getting started and that also signals the start of preseason award watch lists. The Maxwell Football Club will be releasing all of their preseason lists over the next two weeks and three LSU Tigers made the first two watch lists released on Monday.

Arden Key was the highlight as he made both the Maxwell Award and the Bednarik watch lists. The Maxwell Award is for the player that is considered to be the best all-around player while the Bednarik Award is for the best defensive player in college football. Key is coming off a sophomore campaign where he recorded 11 sacks and 55 tackles.

Derrius Guice was also named to the Maxwell watch list while Kevin Tolliver was named to the Bednarik list.

Guice will be the lead back for LSU after a great sophomore season behind Leonard Fournette with 1,387 yards and 15 TDs.

Tolliver had a good sophomore season as well, appearing in six games and recording 20 tackles.
