LSU’s Tiger Stadium will illuminate in blue and post messages of support in a fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, according to lsusports.net.
On Thursday, April 9, Tiger Stadium will be on the major sports and entertainment venues to “Light It Blue” for those working on the front lines during the pandemic.
Landmarks, historic buildings, civic and arts organizations will also take part in this event.
The #LightItBlue event is also supported by many venues from Times Square in New York to Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans will also take part in the campaign.
