The LSU Tigers will look to rebound after a pair of tough losses to Texas A&M and Alabama as they head back on the road for a critical test.

The Tigers fell to #22 in the second College Football Playoff poll as they head to Gainesville to play Billy Napier and the Florida Gators.

Kickoff for this matchup inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is set for 2:30 on Saturday, November 16th. The LSU pregame show will begin at 12:30 and it all can be heard on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette 104.1 Lake Charles.

STOP THE BLEEDING
After a tough loss on the road at Texas A&M, LSU looked to regroup with the help of a bye week before a critical matchup against Alabama. However, the Bayou Bengals looked worse against the Crimson Tide last week than they did two weeks prior.

So how does LSU respond this week in another hostile environment like the Swamp? Facing a team that is also looking to get back on the right track with a win, the Tigers will need to be ready to get the absolute best out of their opponent.

PREPARE FOR MULTIPLE QUARTERBACKS

Florida’s star freshman quarterback DJ Lagway, who has dealt with injuries himself since taking over for Graham Mertz, is looking to play on Saturday against LSU. In this case, the Tigers have spent the week preparing for his dual-threat ability.

In the chance he doesn’t play, they will need to be prepared for Aidan Warner, the pocket-passing third-string QB that ha struggled in his limited play time. Nonetheless, Blake Baker’s defense will need to be ready for either signal caller should a situation arise.

UTILIZE CADEN DURHAM

LSU’s star freshman running back Caden Durham has been a highlight reel player with long runs, special catches, and multiple 100+ yards games. However, there have been a few games where the Tigers have gotten away from using him. For example, against Alabama, Durham busted a 45 yard run on the first play and then only got six more carries the rest of the way.

LSU has to find ways to continue incorporating the talented freshman to become more diverse in their offense.
