LSU and the University of Louisiana baseball teams have earned preseason Top 25 rankings.
The Tigers and Ragin’ Cajuns were both ranked in the first Collegiate Baseball 2020 Pre-Season Poll. LSU came in at No. 11 while UL was slotted at No. 24.
The Tigers are coming winning 40 games and advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals during the 2019 season. LSU is the sixth-highest ranked team from the Southeastern Conference behind Vanderbilt (No. 1), Mississippi State (No. 6), Georgia (No. 7), Auburn (No. 8) and Arkansas (No. 9).
The Ragin’ Cajuns meanwhile check in as the second highest non-Power 5 team in the Collegiate Baseball poll, trailing only Sun Belt foe South Alabama at No. 23.
