Welcome everyone to another edition of #TriplePlay!
Turn One: Rockin’ Robbins
Joe Robbins didn’t hit everything under the sun this weekend against Georgia State, but when he did, it went out of the park. Robbins went 2-for-9 on the weekend, and both of those went out of the Tigue. It would’ve been great for him to get one more on Saturday afternoon, but it couldn’t be done. The crazy part was that both of the home runs happened on his first at-bat, so it set the tone for how this game was going to be played.
Turn Two: Damn Dylan!
Dylan Moore has always been a great closer but this weekend was another prime example of how valuable he can be. With a win and a save in both appearances and not allowing any hits in both situations, Moore is starting to get into a rhythm at the right time.
Turn Three: Should Be An Easy Week
After an interesting week with a midweek matchup against LSU and a short break before playing Georgia State, the Cajuns might have an easier weekend on tap. However, the Cajuns can’t look past Arkansas State and Nicholls State. The Cajuns will have to keep the momentum going from this weekend heading into a four game road trip if they want to get back in good standing in the conference.
