A pair of Cajuns and a pair of Tigers have been named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team.
LSU’s Alex Lange was an obvious selection with a perfect 11-0 record and an ERA of 1.76. The SEC Freshman of the Year was also named Freshman pitcher of the Year in Collegiate Baseball.
Star reliever for the Tigers Jesse Stallings was also named to the squad as a relief pitcher. Stallings recorded 12 saves and had a 2.23 ERA on the year.
The Ragin Cajuns had both Gunner Leger and Dylan Moore both named to the team. Leger has a 6-4 record with a 2.87 ERA.
Closer Dylan Moore had a school record 12 saves, a record of 3-3 and a 1.51 ERA.
