Under first-year head coach Billy Napier, the University of Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns were a surprise bowl team in 2018. The Ragin’ Cajuns won seven games, claimed the Sun Belt West title and earned a spot in a bowl game.
UL is expected to produce a similar season this fall as the Ragin’ Cajuns are projected to be a bowl team in preseason magazine publications, while also having several players earning preseason All-SBC honors.
