The University of Louisiana men’s basketball team added forward and University of California, Berkley transfer Jacobi Gordon on Wednesday.
Gordon announced that he will transfer to play for the Ragin’ Cajuns.
The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 2.3 points per game in two seasons with Cal. Gordon played less than 10 minutes per contest during his time with the Golden Bears. As a sophomore, he played in 12 games but was limited due to an injury. Gordon averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds his sophomore season.
Gordon was a four-star recruit out of high school, according to 247 Sports. He also ranked 89th in ESPN’s Top 100. He played at Fallbrook College Preparatory Academy in Houston, Texas throughout his high school career. He missed his senior season due to an achilles injury but averaged 20.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in his junior year.
