The Louisiana quarterback was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week and a Manning Award Star of the Week for his performance in the win over Arkansas State on Saturday.
Wooldridge, the Pleasantation, CA native, led the Cajuns to a 38-18 victory over the Red Wolves at Cajun Field while throwing for a career-high 316 yards passing and tied the school record for passing touchdowns in a single game with five.
Four different Cajuns receivers had a touchdown reception while 10 different players recorded a reception in the contest. Wooldridge became one of 21 quarterbacks national to throw five or more touchdowns against FBS opposition this season.
Wooldridge will lead the Cajuns onto the field this Thursday against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
