#3OT: LSU vs Florida

Posted by clintdomingue on February 27, 2016 in Featured

3OT

Welcome everyone to another edition of #3OT!

1st OT: Barely Coming Away With A Win

LSU by the skin of their teeth won that game Saturday night against Florida. If not for solid shooting from the charity stripe by both Blakeney and Simmons, this could have been yet another loss by LSU. It’s another example of how LSU is not an NCAA tournament worthy team.

2nd OT: Welcome Back Quarterman

For the first time in a while, Tim Quarterman was in double figures. He is a talented player, but has been a relatively nonexistent as of late. Perhaps it’s because he’s not a fan of his position of the team, but he should be a man and deal with his issues rather than not playing well enough to get his team to the level they want it. It just shows me that he’s a player that wants it to be all about him. But at the end of the day, it’s all about Ben Simmons when it comes to LSU basketball.

3rd OT: The Wild and Crazy SEC

In something that could only happen in the SEC, it’s looking like the LSU Tigers could win the SEC regular season title. I’m saying could because they’re only one game out of first. It just doesn’t make any sense at all that the Tigers who have 12 losses overall could wind up 1st in the conference if teams slip up in the next two games. Does this mean that the Tigers still have a chance to make it to the Big Dance? No. To me, if you win against Mizzou and Kentucky, and win two games in the SEC Tournament, then you have a slim chance. But based off of how much this team has been Jekyll and Hyde, it probably won’t happen anytime soon.
