Welcome everyone to another edition of #3OT!
1st OT: Tale of Two Halves
The Ragin Cajuns looked like two completely different teams. With some early threes from the Cajuns, they looked like they could compete with the top team in the Sun Belt Conference. But as the game progressed, Arkansas-Little Rock showed why they were the superior team. And it became more obvious with the Cajuns going 9-of-34 from the field and going 0-11 from the three point line. It was a disappointing performance for this team.
2nd OT: Enough Turnovers to Open A Bakery
The Cajuns were completely mismatched with the Trojans on Thursday night, and it couldn’t be anymore evident in the turnover department with the Cajuns committing 14 of them as opposed to Arkansas-Little Rock’s six. But it was what the Trojans did off of those turnover that was the difference, getting 11 points off of the turnovers opposed to a paltry four for the Cajuns.
3rd OT: Road Woes Need to End
The Cajuns remained winless on the road after the shellacking they took against Arkansas-Little Rock, and need to snap out of it in the worst way. With three games to go in this road trip, the Cajuns will have to at win two of the next three to be able to still have some semblance of a chance in having some kind of success in conference play.
