The LSU Tigers continued to roll on Saturday afternoon, beat Mizzou (20-17, 4-10 SEC) 9-5 thanks to a five-run seventh inning.

LSU got on the board first off of an RBI single from Beau Jordan in the top of the second inning to make it 1-0.

Mizzou responded in the bottom of the third with an RBI single from Harris to tie things up and took the lead with a bases loaded walk.

LSU responded in a big way in the top of the fourth with an RBI single from Chris Reid to tie things back up. Antoine Duplantis continued his stellar freshman campaign with a two-run double later in the inning.

Bond and Harris kept Mizzou in it with home runs from both players in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings respectively.

LSU got a free run on a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh followed by a grand slam from Beau Jordan to put the game out of reach despite an RBI double by Lavy in the top of the 9th.

Alex Lange improves to 4-2 on the year, allowing four runs off of seven hits and striking out six in six innings of work. Parker Bugg got his second save of the year allowing one run off three hits and struck out two in three innings of work.

The Tigers (24-11, 8-6 SEC) will attempt to get the sweep on Sunday with first pitch set for 1 pm.
