Ben Love and I went Toe to Toe this morning when we argued which LSU Tiger we think is the most important to the team’s success. Who can the Tigers not afford to lose for an extended period of time this season?
I went with the most important player on any football team, the Quarterback. Brandon Harris is the only guy in the locker room with experience under center in the SEC and he also has the biggest chip on his shoulder in all of college football. You could argue that Brandon Harris is the most criticized player in the country. Danny Etling is the other option at QB for the Tigers but he couldn’t even get on the field at Purdue. Is this the guy you want guiding your team through the biggest football season ever or is it the guy out to prove himself after being hardened by a tumultuous season as a young SEC QB? Exacatively!
