Looks like the phrase “buyout bowl” being used to describe the LSU-Auburn Game was meant to be taken literally.

Less than twenty four hours after a loss to Auburn after poor clock management, LSU will fire head coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator according to reports from the Baton Rouge Advocate

Meanwhile LSU’s defensive line coach Ed Orgeron has been promoted as the interim head coach. He has head coaching experience as he was coach for Ole Miss from 2005-2007 and was the interim coach for the USC Trojans in 2013.

The firing of Miles and Cameron reportedly came down Sunday afternoon with a meeting between university leaders, AD Joe Alleva, and President F. King Alexander.

Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
