Make it six straight losses for the LSU Tigers (9-10, 1-7 SEC) as they were dominated in every aspect of the game by the Florida Gators (15-5, 6-2 SEC) on Wednesday night by the score of 106-71.

LSU was able to start out with a small lead early on, but once Florida got the lead, they were nearly unstoppable in the second half. At around the midway point of the first half, the Gators were up by 17 points. The dominance would continue as they headed into the locker room with a 25 point lead at halftime.

After Florida got their lead out to 30 points, the Tigers were able to bring it back down to 25 points with 16:26. However, Florida was able to quickly get out to 37-point lead and end up keeping the lead above 30 points.

LSU will next travel to Lubbock, Texas on Saturday for a non-conference matchup against Texas Tech (14-5) with tipoff set for 1 pm.

By the Numbers:

57.6: Florida’s percentage from beyond the arc. While their shooting from the field was at 56 percent, seeing a team be able to hit consistently from three-point range is unacceptable.

2: Number of made three pointers by LSU. Going back to Florida for a comparison, all but one player that shot from three made at least three shots from three. LSU also only shot 17 threes in the game.

24: Number of points Devin Robinson had in the win for Florida. He also led the team with eight rebounds and also had two assists.
