The first day of the SEC Tournament saw a four-hour extra inning affair between South Carolina and Vanderbilt, followed by a slugfest between Missouri and Texas A&M that hit a snag with a 1:46 rain delay.
These events led to the game between Mississippi State and Georgia to be moved over to Wednesday at 9:30 am. If everything goes according to schedule, then the LSU Tigers will face off against the Tigers of Mizzou at 4:30 pm.
Sophomore Caleb Gilbert (3-1, 3.09 ERA) will be getting the start on Wednesday for LSU while freshman TJ Sikkema (8-1, 2.28 ERA) will take the mound for Mizzou.
