Tremont Waters has to be feeling like the big man on campus after his big performance on Saturday in the win over Texas A&M. The SEC took note of this on Monday, announcing that Waters earned his second SEC Freshman of the Week honor of the season.
Waters, a 5’11” guard from New Haven, Connecticut averaged 19.5 points, eight boards, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals against Kentucky and Texas A&M. In the Tigers win over the Aggies, Waters drained two three-pointers from over 30 feet in the final 12 seconds.
LSU will return to action on Wednesday when they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks with tipoff set for 7 pm.
