Storylines
Storz Making Debut
LSU will be trotting out freshman Nick Storz tonight for his collegiate debut, which has surprised some when it was expected that the Tigers would send out the more experienced AJ Labas. However, don’t expect the Brooklyn native to be out there for an extended outing tonight. It’ll be really interesting to see if he’s starting next weekend against the Cajuns in the Wally Pontiff Classic.
Tonight’s matchup is a big deal according to Paul Mainieri as the Tigers have lost four straight against the Green Wave over the last two seasons. With a true freshman on the mound, it’ll likely be up to the offense to get the job done in the midweek matchup.
