Saints Officially Sign Cam Meredith

Posted by clintdomingue on April 11, 2018 in Blogs, Latest News

The New Orleans Saints have officially signed Cameron Meredith after the Chicago Bears made the decision to not match the offer sheet.

Meredith had agreed to a two-year $10 million offer sheet last week, $5.4 million of which is guaranteed. The 25-year old joins a cast of stellar wideouts including Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn, and Tommylee Lewis.

The big question mark at the wide receiver position is undoubtedly Willie Snead and he’ll need to have a stellar camp to stay on that roster. Meredith missed the 2017 season due to an injury he suffered in 2016. Prior to the injury, he racked up 66 receptions for 888 yards in 14 games back in 2016.
