After another successful series, Josh Smith made it two weeks in a row with an LSU baseball player receiving SEC Player of the Week honors on Monday.
The junior shortstop was outstanding against Texas A&M, batting .500 in the three-game series with a double, two home runs, and three RBIs on the weekend.
Undoubtedly, the biggest hit came in game one of the series when Smith launched a solo shot in the bottom of the eighth to give them the win.
Chris Reid won the award last week for his efforts and took to social media to give his respects for Smith.
