The schedule has now been set.

The New Orleans Saints unveiled their complete preseason and regular season schedule for the upcoming season on Thursday night. The schedule features a total of five prime time games, and one held on Christmas Day.

The team is scheduled to play four preseason games with games at the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers followed by home contests against the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins.

New Orleans will then open up the regular season at home on Sunday, Sept. 13th against the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Kickoff is set for 3:25 p.m. and the game will be televised on Fox.

New Orleans will then play its first of three prime time games in a span of four weeks on Sept. 21st at the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. The next week New Orleans will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. After a road game at the Detroit Lions on Oct. 4th, New Orleans hosts the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

The remaining prime time game will be on Nov. 8th when New Orleans takes on Tampa Bay for the second time — this time on Sunday Night Football.

The Saints have been forced to play on Thanksgiving the past few years and this year the team will play on a holiday once again but just not Thanksgiving. New Orleans will instead play at Minnesota on Christmas Day which falls on a Friday this year. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.

The team’s bye week is slated for Week 6 (Oct. 18).

The Saints will once again close out the regular season with a game against the Carolina Panthers. This year’s game will be at Carolina with a noon kickoff.
