The LSU Tigers starting quarterback Myles Brennan is questionable to play against South Carolina on Saturday, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.
Orgeron spoke with reporters on Monday and said Brennan has a “significant” lower-body injury. The injury occurred during LSU’s 45-41 loss against Missouri.
Brennan was “doubtful” last week leading up to LSU’s game against Florida, but the game was postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the Gators football program.
Through three starts, Brennan has thrown for 1,112 yards with 11 passing touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Tigers have two freshmen quarterbacks behind Brennan in TJ Finley and Max Johnson.
If Brennan is unable to play against South Carolina this week, Finley or Johnson will get the start and it will be “whoever has the best week,” according to Orgeron.
