LSU head coach Ed Orgeron has been busy with the “Hold That Tiger!” tweets.
Another top prospect from the state of Louisiana has committed to the LSU Tigers.
Five-star recruit Sage Ryan announced on Halloween his commitment to the reigning national champions.
The decision came down to two programs, Alabama and LSU, but the Lafayette Christian Academy safety decided to join Oregon and the Tigers over the Crimson Tide.
Ryan is the No. 1-ranked safety in the country, according to 247Sports.
Not only was Ryan effective on defense, but he showed his versatility in all three phases as a junior at LCA.
Ryan recorded 15 receiving touchdowns last season while totaling three punt return touchdowns and three kickoff returns for a touchdown. On defense, Ryan recorded two interceptions and one fumble recovery.
Ryan joins Khari Gee and Matthew Langlois as the other safeties who committed to LSU during this recruiting cycle.
