Brylan Green will have a chance to play in the NFL
The former Lafayette Christian Academy star and Liberty Flames defensive back was not selected in the NFL Draft this weekend, but he did receive invites to two rookie minicamps.
Green has been invited to take part in rookie minicamp for the Kansas City Chiefs from May 1st to 3rd, and then with the Minnesota Vikings from May 8th to 10th.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound safety was a very productive player in his four seasons suiting up for the Flames.
Green is coming off a senior season in which he recorded 39 tackles, five pass breakups, and one interception. In four seasons for Liberty, Green recorded 141 tackles, 16 pass breakups, and six interceptions.
His best season was in 2023 when he earned first-team Conference USA honors and second-team All-American honors after recording 38 tackles, eight pass breakups, and five interceptions.
In high school, he helped LCA win four-straight state championships in football, and he earned all-state honors as a defensive back in football and was rated a three-star recruit by both 247Sports.com and Rivals.com.
