The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns football schedule is now set for the 2022 season.
Louisiana opens up with a pair of non-conference games at Cajun Field against Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 3) and then against Eastern Michigan (Sept. 10). Louisiana will then head to Rice (Sept. 17) before opening up Sun Belt Conference play at ULM (Sept. 24).
The team’s eight-game SBC schedule will include three home and three road division games, with one home game and one road game against a non-division opponent.
Louisiana will host South Alabama (Oct. 1) for homecoming before heading to Huntington, West Virginia to take on new conference member Marshall for a rematch of the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The matchup between the Ragin’ Cajuns and Thundering Herd will be on Wednesday (Oct. 12).
Louisiana will then host Arkansas State (Oct. 22), travel to Hattiesburg to take on new SBC member Southern Miss for a mid-week matchup on Thursday (Oct. 27).
Louisiana will then return home for SBC games against Troy (Nov. 5) and Georgia Southern (Nov. 10), before wrapping up the season with road games at Florida State (Nov. 19) and Texas State (Nov. 26).
The 2022 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3.
