Steve has become a hero on a whole new level since leaving football. After being diagnosed with ALS, commonly known as Lou Ghrig’s disease, he’s been a crusader. His efforts have earned him a Congressional Gold Medal.
The inaugural Fin Feather Fur Food Festival to benefit Team Gleason will be Thursday, April 28th, at Lafayette’s Blackham Coliseum.
Teams will compete in four divisions: Fin Feather, Fur and Dessert. Local chefs will judge the competition. Attendees can vote for “People’s Choice” and “Team Showmanship.” Proceeds from the evnt benefit Team Gleason. For more information: https://teamgleason.org/f5/
