It is homecoming week for the Carencro Golden Bears. It’s where I get the gracious pleasure of doing the football Play-By-Play.

It’s a fun week for the school as it is for any other school during homecoming week. We know it’s a week where we got the homecoming dance at the end of the week and well, that involves……girls. Just maybe you’ll hear one of my most fondest memories in high school during homecoming week during the broadcast this Friday night.
My favorite marching band song is “hey Baby” which is derived from Bruce Channel’s hit song. You have heard the marching band version everywhere which is great, but I enjoyed the original song from Channel. I love the oldies. I’d play this song at the homecoming dance for Carencro this year if I was DJ’ing it and it would probably please the faculty to an extent and lose the kids at the same time. haha
It’s Throwback Thursday and it’s homecoming week, why not?
