Three players from Jay Johnson’s 2024 LSU baseball team were named All-Americans by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Junior Tommy White, junior Luke Holman, and sophomore Griffin Herring were each named NCBWA Second-Team All-Americans.

White, a First-Team All-American in 2023, hit .330 on the season with 12 doubles, one triple, 24 homers, and 70 runs batted in. He also plated 61 runs himself. The St. Pete native finished fifth in the SEC in hits, sixth in total bases, and seventh in homers and RBI. His 75 career home runs rank eighth all-time.

Holman posted a 9-4 record and a 2.75 ERA in 91.2 innings with 33 walks and 127 strikeouts. Opponents hit just .174 off the Sinking Springs, PA native who finished second in the league in strikeouts, winks, and opponent batting average. He was third in ERA and innings.

Herring was dominant most of the year with a 6-1 record and a 1.79 ERA, recording six saves, 13 walks, and 67 strikeouts. The Southlake, TX native went -1 in SEC play with a 1.14 ERA and five saves.
