
Lane Kiffin won’t have to wait very long to make his return trip to Oxford, Mississippi.
The Southeastern Conference released the finalized league slate of games for 2026, and one of the highlights is LSU opening up league play on the road at Ole Miss in Week 3.
LSU will kick off the season by hosting Clemson (September 5) and will follow that up by hosting Louisiana Tech (September 12). The following week, LSU will travel to take on Ole Miss (September 19) in one of the most highly anticipated games on the schedule.
LSU will return home to host SEC foe Texas A&M (September 26), before playing its final non-conference foe in McNeese (October 3rd). LSU will then travel to play at Kentucky (October 10), host Mississippi State (October 17), and then travel to Auburn (October 24).
Kiffin’s team will receive a bye on October 31st, before concluding the season with back-to-back home games against Alabama (November 7) and Texas (November 14). LSU will then wrap up the regular season with back-to-back road games at Arkansas (November 21) and against another opponent (November 28).
