
NATCHITOCHES — ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles — Southwest Louisiana’s Sports Station brought home multiple awards at the 2025 Louisiana Sports Writers Association Annual Awards held in Natchitoches on Sunday.
Dawson Eiserloh received four honors.
He earned second-place accolades in the Best Radio Interview category for his interview with former UFC star Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier, and honorable mention honors in Best Radio Show Host (Solo & Team) for “The Lohdown with D-Loh.”
Eiserloh also took home second-place honors in the Best Live TV Event category for his and Brennan Breaux’s ESPN Plus broadcast of a Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball game vs. Dallas Baptist University.
Eiserloh also earned a writing award in the Pro Column — Class I category for his column on New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough for www.espnsouthwestlouisiana.com.
Raymond Partsch III and James Meche took second-place honors in Best Radio Show Host (Solo & Team) for “RP3 & Meche.” Partsch also placed third in the Best Interview category for his interview on “RP3 & Meche” with former MLB legend and World Series champion Curt Schilling.
Partsch also took home multiple honors in writing categories for his work for www.espnsouthwestlouisiana.com.
He earned second-place honors in Outdoors — Open Class for his feature on former LSU football star Brandon Taylor’s love for hunting, third-place honors in Prep Column — Class I for his column on how the NCAA Transfer Portal is killing high school recruiting, and honorable mention honors in College Feature — Class I for his story on the Sliman Family and Ragin’ Cajuns golf program.
Partsch also earned first-place honors in Headlines — Open Class category, and Columnist of the Year — Class I, and second-place in Prep Writer of the Year — Class I.
He also received the prestigious Mac Russo/Jack Brittain Award, which is one of the organization’s highest honors, recognizing an individual who “contributes to the progress and ideals of the LSWA.”
After Further Review’s Matt Moscona and producers Matt Musso and Paul O’Neil brought home first-place awards in the Best Radio Show Host (Solo & Team) and Best Interview categories.
Chad Jones, Jason Burns, and Partsch received honorable mention honors in the Best Live Radio Event category for their work broadcasting the St. Landry Parish Game of the Week on sister station Z105.9 FM.
