Welcome everyone to another edition of #3OT!
1st OT: Cajuns Defense Dominated First Half
The Ragin Cajuns got back on the right foot against Appalachian State, but it was the Cajuns defense that helped a lot of the way. The Mountaineers went 8-24 from the field in the first half and it led to the Cajuns taking over the pace of the ballgame early on.
2nd OT: You Can Only Hope to Contain Shawn Long
Shawn Long had a whale of game, nearly getting a double-double before halftime. App State tried to go into double coverage, and the senior dunked on them for their efforts. Shawn Long is starting into a groove that will be hard to stop this season. Every team that is taking on the Cajuns needs to figure out how to stop him.
3rd OT: Road Trip!
The next four games for the Cajuns are all on the road and start out the trip against the currently ranked 1st and 2nd in the conference in Arkansas-Little Rock and Arkansas State respectively. These two matchups will be a huge challenge, especially UALR who is 11-2 and 2-0 in conference play. With the Cajuns current misfortunes on the road, they will need to find a way to fix the bad mojo and fast before they get behind the proverbial 8-ball.
