The Ragin Cajuns have lost another coach to another school.
Longtime strength coach Rusty Whitt is leaving the program for a similar position at Texas Tech.
Whitt, who has been part of the Cajuns program since 2010, is known for his unorthodox training methods such as running stadium steps with heavy weights in a backpack.
Prior to becoming a strength coach at UL Lafayette, he worked at Rice University. He also served two terms in Iraq with the Army special forces.
