#3OT: LSU vs Texas A&M

Posted by clintdomingue on January 19, 2016 in Featured

3OT

Welcome everyone to another edition of #3OT!

1st OT: What Happened In the Second Half?

The second half for the LSU Tigers is what would happen if the plot of the movie Space Jam actually happened. LSU started out okay from the field in the first half, but were able to keep Texas A&M within reach. But when it came to the second half, it was like the Monstars took the team’s shooting ability away, going  9-of-28 in the second half. That gave the Aggies all the time in the world to win this game in decisive fashion.

2nd OT: LSU Defense Had Zero Effort

After a pair of solid efforts by the Tigers, it seemed like this team was clicking and may be able to turn this season around. But this team needs to fix up their backcourt defense. It seemed like half of the baskets that Texas A&M made was on the fast break in the first half. I’m not sure if it’s because of a lack of effort from LSU or Texas A&M being that good, but to see that from this team is not a good sign at all.

3rd OT: Can’t Overlook Bama

The Tigers have to stay on the road this Saturday with an afternoon matchup against Alabama. They cannot afford to overlook the Crimson Tide who only have one win in conference play. This team only has so many losses they can afford and a loss against a lowly SEC team like Alabama, it could be a downward spiral for this team that could be difficult to get out of.
