The Arkansas Razorbacks (25-6, 7-2 SEC) got Alex Lange out of the game early and took care of business against the LSU Tigers (20-11, 5-5 SEC) bullpen to come away with a 9-3 win on Friday night.

The Razorbacks got one the board in the bottom of the second with a solo shot from Eric Cole. He followed that up in the fifth inning with an RBI double to left center to put them up 2-0.

Jax Biggers followed that up with an RBI double of his own with this one going down the right field line.

Arkansas continued to dominate in the sixth with Jared Gates hitting a two-run blast over the rigt field wall to make it 6-0.

Jordan Romero finally got the Tigers on the board with a RBI single in the seventh, but the Razorbacks put the final nail in with a three-run bomb to centerfield from Chad Spanberger in the bottom half of the inning.

Alex Lange dropped to 3-4 on the season allowing three runs off of six hits, walking five and striking out seven in four and a third innings of work

The Tigers will look to even up the series on Saturday with first pitch set for 6 pm.
