The Houston Astros continue their winning ways and extending their lead in the AL West, beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1.
Arizona got on the board first in the top of the second off an RBI double by Jake Lamb.
But the Astros were quick to respond in the bottom of the second with a sac fly by Chris Carter that allowed Jed Lowrie to reach home and tie it up.
The Astros put the nail in the coffin in the bottom of the fifth with a solo shot to right field by Evan Gattis.
Collin McHugh improved his record to 13-5 allowing one run off of eight hits and struck out six in seven innings of work.
The Astros will now make a quick trip to Arlington for a three game set against AL West foes the Texas Rangers starting tomorrow night with first pitch set for 7:05 pm.
