Ben Sheets came on Bumper to Bumper Sports with Ben Love to talk about being one of the members of the 2016 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. He joins PJ Brown (who we interviewed here) and STM Head Coach Jim Hightower along with others set to be inducted this weekend in Natchitoches. Sheets stated that it was honor to be in the hall alongside some of the greats.
They also discussed his college days at UL Monroewhich included a notable game where he struck out 20 against Louisiana Tech. The conversation then turned to making it in the majors and having a lengthy career as a pitcher for multiple teams. They also discussed the 2000 Olympics and being part of the gold medal team.
